Ashcrofts Mini Travel Est 2006

In 2006 I started Ashcrofts Mini travel with 1 vehicle running from our home premises.  We had lots of positive feedback and decided to expand further. We employed more staff to cope with demand and in 2008 we decided to move into dedicated business premises on Golborne enterprise park.

Our number one priority at all times has always been safety and in order for us to keep reliable with our customers we decided to get our own mechanic in house to undertake all maintenance and repair work. Vehicles used for private hire/taxi use really do clock the miles up so a rigorous maintenance schedule is essential. 

As the mini travel business continued to grow we purchased more vehicles, we own all our vehicles so no owner drivers.  In late 2009 we decided to set up our other business AMT Tyres & Mot This tyre bay operates under the Ashcrofts Mini Travel Ltd name.  We then realised we needed larger business premises but did not want to move out of Golborne, at the same time one of the largest units on the Enterprise Park (unit 1) became available so we decided to expand further into these premises and as such now have plenty of room for vehicles and maintenance and tyre fitting.

To date our unit now has full garage facilities and equipment including vehicle lifts and ramps and all tools necessary to maintain and repair our fleet.  We now also undertake repairs and maintenance to other taxi and bus operators in our area as they have seen our facilities
